There is a balance to strike when it comes to choosing which foods to eat. If you spend all of your time denying yourself any sweets or treats, then your happiness might not increase. Even momentary happiness at making the healthy choice will fade when you watch your friends enjoying a brownie fudge sundae while you finish your extra big salad.
